Now, anyone who knows me knows that my political views definitely lean to the left, but this book creeps me out. What are these animals- squirrels? Nude snails? Do small children really "want to know, need to know" about their parents' political values? Somehow, I do not think so, at least not at the age when they are still reading picture books. Most importantly, I wonder: at what point does passing down your values become pushing propaganda on your kids?
