I love eBay, or at least the idea of eBay. However, I have had nothing but bad experiences with it. For example, I am obsessed with owning a pair of real, vintage, cutie moon boots likeMo was sporting on our trip to Ohio. (This obsession has replaced my cowboy boot obsession of last summer, which was ultimately satisfied on a whirlwind thrift store blitz. ) Anyway, I won an identical pair of moon boots in my size (men's 7/8 women's 9/10) on eBay. They arrived a few days ago.
And they are a women's size 7/8.
The seller was very apologetic, I sent them back, she is refunding my money, blah blah blah.
But that's not the point! This is just the latest in a string of disappointing eBay experiences- such as:
The $18 vintage boots made of cracky pleather
The striped vintage Levis jean jacket, as described by a puzzled Mr. Lolly , who called to let me know he had opened the package:" Its a big 80s jean jacket. That's what you wanted, right? A big eighties jean jacket?"
The little pink vintage slip that I couldn't even get past my hips.
But here in Mi, the temperature is dropping as we speak, there were snow flurries today, and once again I am watching a foxy pair of moon boots on Evilbay......

Poor Dana, perhaps you can find another pair in you size. Good luck! (I got you an x-mas gift from e-bay already. It's nothing big, but I think you'll like it)
