Anticipation

So here is something to contemplate:
at this time next year, Mr. Lolly and I will be getting ready to have a baby. Or perhaps I will already be pregnant. This thought keeps popping into my head at random moments. For example, all my pre-weight loss clothing is in the basement, to be used as future maternity wear. Yesterday, I wore a dress over my jeans and I actually paused as I looked in the mirror, pondering what a great pregnancy look the whole dress over pants thing is. Of course, at my job (the same one I have had for the past 4 years) I see babies and small children all the time. However, over the past year or so I have really begun to look at children differently. All of a sudden, I can imagine what it would be like to be a mom. Sometimes I look at pictures of infants and I actually get teary-eyed. I guess this is what they mean by the ticking of the biological clock. I am thirty, after all (as hard as it is to believe sometimes.)

Is there any time of year that you would like to aim for the baby to be born? May I suggest September as a fabulous month...

I hope that you are pregnant next year...good lord I hope you have a baby before Nicole, as it should be the natural course of things. I can't wait to be an aunt! (Of course I will have to duke it out with Monique over who gets to be the cool aunt...and she'll probably win)
