I want an Oompa Loompa now Daddy!

Mr. Lolly and I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Saturday night, and it was pretty good! Of course, the original is one of my all time favorite movies. I also love the book it was based upon, as well as all of Roald Dahl's books. But I would definitely recommend the Tim Burton version- it was twisted and funny and kept some of the elements of the original movie without being derivative. Interestingly, this version incorporated some parts of the book that the first movie did not. I have to say, at first I did not like Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka, but he grew on me by the end of the movie. We also saw the preview for Corpse Bride, and I cannot wait to see it!!!! I love Tim Burton, his movies like Nightmare Before Christmas remind me of all that was good about the 1990s.
